Workload and credit points

The workload involved in a blended learning course consists of the following:

  • the expected number of working hours during the asynchronous learning phases as part of guided independent study (reading material, exercises, group work, etc.), plus
  • the time required for synchronous learning as part of in-person learning (lectures, block sessions, tutor guidance, group meetings, etc.), plus
  • the time required to prepare formative assessements (e.g. project work, semester papers, etc.) and/or preparation for and participation in final exams.
