ASYNCHRONOUS PHASE
6.1
General
Asynchronous phase (independent study)
The University of Basel provides access to the ADAM learning platform, which allows you to organize your courses (particularly the asynchronous phases).
-
An interface between ADAM and the student administration service services.unibas.ch enables lecturers to set up ADAM courses with synchronised member management automatically for every course. All students registered for the course then have access to this ADAM course. A major advantage of a course with synchronised member management is the automatic administration process: the course registration list is automatically compared with the course member list overnight.
-
For courses outside the regular semester planning process (e.g. block courses), you can request a course with manual member managementto be created in ADAM (under “More functions”) at any time and oversee the registration process yourself or manually add students to the course.
