SLIDES FOR MULTIMEDIA
3.2
Your slides are not going to be the same as in a lecture
When you create slides for a lecture and show them to your audience in a lecture hall, the audience can choose where to look: at you or at the slides. Learners have time to read the slides because you can leave them standing for longer periods of time.
In a video, the edit determines what you will see – either the slides or the lecturer. Your attention is steered in a specific direction. Slides may not necessarily be on screen for long periods of time, so they need to be short, clear and memorable.
