ADDRESSING YOUR AUDIENCE

1.4

When writing, think of friends and family

When writing, think of friends and family. (Not peers.) Address your texts to them.

For example, instead of saying:

  • «This reading exercise will facilitate your comprehension of the topics and arguments presented in the next steps.»

say:

  • «Once you have read this, you will better understand the topics and arguments presented in the next steps.»
