The course consists of two chapters on the themes of terms and definition, and plagiarism.

Each chapter has an associated self-assessment quiz and a summary of the most important points. Members of the University of Basel can assess and situate their digital skills with a self-test here (only in English).

The course is organized in self-explanatory steps. These can be completed sequentially or in any order. The modular structure enables the quizzes to be completed at any time. This can help in making an informed decision about what material/steps to focus on.
