We have seen that the labour market is not a neutral space, as it is influenced by the gender norms, roles and stereotypes present in a society.

As a result, access to decent work is unequally distributed between women and men. Can you think of any examples that illustrate the gendered character of the labour market in your own surroundings? What do you think are the reasons for this inequality?
