For editing your own video abstract in this course you need to download and install DaVinci Resolve 17. This is a free editing software provided by BlackMagic Design.

Davinci Resolve runs very smoothly on different computers, even older and weaker ones. Please install and test the software as soon as possible to ensure that it will run on your system. If you have difficulty downloading or installing the software, the short video tutorial below explains the process. Should you keep having issues running Davinci on your device, please let us know. The tutorial videos in this course focus on version 16 of Davinci Resolve. However, we recommend that you download and install the newest version 17. There are no major differences in the user interface and the handling of the data is still the same, so there shouldn’t be any issues when working your way through the tutorials.
